PC-PNDT Act Compliance Policy
Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PC-PNDT) Act, 1994
Our clinic strictly adheres to the PC-PNDT Act, 1994 and all amendments thereto. We are committed to preventing sex-selective practices and misuse of diagnostic techniques.
No Sex Determination
We do not conduct any tests, procedures, or examinations for the purpose of determining the sex of the fetus. Any requests for sex determination will be refused, and such practices are punishable by law.
Proper Authorization
Our clinic is duly registered under the PC-PNDT Act and maintains all required licenses and certifications.
Mandatory Forms
All patients undergoing pre-natal diagnostic procedures must complete Form-F as mandated by the Act. Consent forms will be provided and must be signed before any examination.
Mandatory Documentation
All patients undergoing pre-natal or pregnancy-related ultrasound examinations must provide a photocopy of valid government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID or Driving License) and a valid prescription or referral letter from a registered medical practitioner.
Record Maintenance
We maintain comprehensive records of all ultrasound examinations as required by law, including patient details, indications for testing, and scan reports.
Display of Information
Notices regarding prohibition of sex determination are prominently displayed at our facility in local languages as required by the Act.
Reporting Obligations
We submit reports to the appropriate authorities as mandated by the PC-PNDT Act.
No Inducements
We do not offer any incentives, discounts, or promotional schemes that could encourage sex determination practices.
Legal Consequences
Violation of the PC-PNDT Act can result in imprisonment and fines for both the clinic and individuals involved. We have zero tolerance for any attempts to circumvent these regulations.
Patient Responsibility
Patients are advised that seeking, offering, or facilitating sex determination is a criminal offense. We request full cooperation in maintaining the sanctity of this law.
